PVC windows are a popular choice for their excellent energy efficiency, as they provide good insulation and help maintain indoor temperatures, reducing energy costs. They are durable and resistant to weathering, rot, and corrosion, requiring minimal maintenance. PVC windows are also available in various styles and colors, allowing for design flexibility.

Additionally, PVC windows are cost-effective, offering an alternative to other window materials. Their sound insulation properties are generally good, making them suitable for noisy environments. Meanwhile, PVC windows has a better performance in costal areas compared to aluminum due to the salty air and humidity.

However, PVC windows have some downsides. They can be less aesthetically pleasing than materials like wood or aluminum and may not suit all architectural styles. Over time, they can become discolored or brittle, especially in extreme weather conditions. Repairing PVC windows can be challenging, often requiring full replacements rather than simple fixes. Furthermore, while PVC is recyclable, the recycling process is less straightforward compared to aluminum.
